About the author

He translated the book “Blue Ocean Strategy” in 2006. After that, he finished translating the book “Corporate Governance, Corporate Social Responsibility and Corporate Sustainability” in 2013. He published the book “Corporate Social Responsibility in the Tourism Industry” based on research conducted in the Cultural Heritage and Tourism Organization of Iran in 2017. In the same year, he was nominated as the best researcher of the year in the field of tourism. In different journals, he has published over thirty articles in information technology, business strategies, corporate governance, and corporate social responsibility.

He is the founder and CEO of “Blue Ocean Dolphin,” a management consulting company. This company provides services in various area, including strategic business management, human resource development, and coaching and mentoring of company leaders in various industries. As an entrepreneur, he has launched several start-up businesses: IranTrawell in tourism, Kooching in migration, and ModiranMedia in e-learning.

His other important achievements are teaching, consulting, and training over 500 business managers in different companies and industries. Majid Golpaygani has climbed more than 14 peaks above 3000 meters in Iran. Finally, in 2014, he stood on the highest peak and roof of Iran, Mount Damavand, at 5671 meters. In 2016, he completed the 42 km Istanbul Marathon.

Majid Golpaygani has been teaching at Tehran Industrial Management Organization since 2012. During this time, as a lecturer of DBA and MBA courses, he has presented various courses in strategy, leadership, corporate governance, corporate social responsibility, and ethics and values in business in Tehran and other branches of this organization in Iranian cities. As a consultant and researcher, he has provided valuable services to various companies and organizations in business development and organizational excellence.
